Callisto is diagnosed as having taken a DNA altering drug.
He then jumps forward in time to the limit of his power, and sees the world aflame. "Decimation" began with the self-titled one-shot Decimation: House of M: The Day After, and heralded the relaunch of the Excalibur team in New Excalibur, focusing on Pete Wisdom looking for Captain Britain to head up a new British super team, as well as the relaunch of X-Factor from the MadroX miniseries. Mission: catch up on the last decade's worth of Inhumans. At the Fantastic Four's headquarters, Reed informs the Inhumans that the mutants have lost their powers again; the effect was only temporary. Challenge: wade through some of the most tedious, second-rate, forgettable stories of the Marvel Universe that I've studiously avoided like a bad STD since getting back into Marvel comics.

When I read the issues after Attempting to get through life as a human, Pietro encounters Spider-Man, who is also suffering from a loss due to Pietro and Wanda's (Scarlet Witch) meddling with the world around them. When I read the issues after This is a difficult one to rate. When denied, PAttempting to get through life as a human, Pietro encounters Spider-Man, who is also suffering from a loss due to Pietro and Wanda's (Scarlet Witch) meddling with the world around them. All he wanted was to make the world a perfect place for mutantkind. It was a very compelling story and I read it in one breath.
Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. . Wasn't a fan of the art either. Credits: David Hine (Writer), Roy Allen Martinez (Artist) Brief Description: He's lost his powers, his sister, and his cause. Crushed and defeated, his only hope and refuge lies with the Inhumans. Walking along a street, he decides to embrace rather than fight the future. Reason: Inhumans are the new "mutants" of the MCU.
It isn't exactly essential towards Civil War or Messiah Complex, but it is kind of important if you plan on reading Silent War. A must read for all Inhumans and X-Men fans.
Recommended to the more serious comic readers. Decimation, sometimes called M-Day, is the event, a direct result of the insane Scarlet Witch, when roughly 90% of mutants on Earth lost their powers.
He and Luna first encounter Meanwhile, Videmus admits to allowing Pietro to escape with the Terrigen Crystals. ISBN Number: 0785119701. He believes that the Inhumans have grown weak and dull with their luxurious, unchallenging lifestyle, and that by losing the Terrigen Mists they will grow strong again through adversity. My biased towards all things Inhuman and Magneto's lineage may come into play on the adoration though. But really, the main reason I got this was because it was illustrated by Roy Allan Martinez, a countryman whose work deserves more notice. Not a fan of the art, but I love quicksilver anyway :)Hmmm . Pietro was among those affected, resulting in his falling into depression, both because of his loss of power and over his betrayal of mutantkind. Pietro informs Luna that he still has enough Terrigen Crystals for him and Luna. I like that style that relies on shadows and dark ink to accentuate characters, settings and action.Bleh. 0785119701
Overall, Decimation: Son of M is something I would only recommend to those who really followed House of M closely. . But if he can obtain his powers again by going through terrigenesis, what's to say other former mutants couldn't do the same thing. Decimation takes place after the Scarlet Witch got rid of the mutant powers of all the mutants everywhere. We get to see the emotional fallout for the person responsible for creating House Of M, as well as see his attempt at retribution. If you're a fan of Quicksilver, the House Of M storyline, or Peter David's second run on X-Factor, this is a fun and essential read. Why do the Inhumans allow him to walk around after this?
Quicksilver gets depowered along millions of other mutants, and on the verge of suicide, he ends up finding a way to bring those powers back, unfortunely, as it is costume, Pietro ends up making it worst for him and the others around him. But really, the main reason I got this was because it was illustrated by Roy Allan Martinez, a countryman whose work deserves more notice. This story has become more relevant now that Marvel is pushing Inhuman to be its new X-Men. He grabs someone off the street and mutates them with his hands, shining with shards of Terrigen. Now, the son of Magneto is despised and powerless. Furthermore, he severs ties with the Inhumans because of their declaration of war. Some would say unredeemable? . The only aspects of his character I understand is arrogance and a loyalty to mutant kind. I read this as a part of the War of Kings prelude and am very excited for what is coming next. Now, this was a real solid story with powerful art. This is a difficult one to rate. Some would say unredeemable? okay. Pietro struggles to deal with life as an ordinary human, and desperately uses a beacon to attempt to contact the After treatment by an Inhuman healer, Pietro is reunited with his daughter The older Pietro explains that the Mists did give him powers — he has time-jumped fourteen days into the future, but the time-travel has a degenerative effect on him, hence his haggard state, and he can only move forward in time and only remain there for short periods before he is pulled back. He's depressed and desperate to be who he once was. When M-Day struck Pietro Maximoff was one of the many mutants who lost his powers. This Quicksilver is really unlikeable. We may have to stay home and stay still, but through t...Pietro Maximoff was Quicksilver, the fastest living creature on Earth - until the Scarlet Witch took it all away. Decimation: Son of M doesn't at all feel like a shameless money grab, since it focuses on Quicksilver's dilemma on being de-powered, which does make a lot of sense for reasons I won't mention.
