I liked the way it left you on a cliff hanger wondering what was going to happen next. All in all, a light and easy to read book - with a good overall outline but too many mean characters!
It is clear to me at least that Ms Fallon writes with good knowledge of some of the characters she must rub shoulders with in the starstudded world a partner of Ricky Gervais and the TV hierarchy would be expected. I quite enjoyed this part but then the last third and especially towards the end became cheesy, everyone was being nice and polite and it just didn't wash. And to be honest, I think this would transfer quite convincingly to the small screen.

But I was disappointed with how boring this book felt, I found myself dragging my eyes across the page rather than being really invested.It starts off ok. Good premise and there were some twists that could happen along with the way when there are relationships between one man and two women. Not one she's happy with...Once Stephanie and Katie know about each other, they must decide what to do. I really like the second half because the characters were all challenged, changed for good *and* bad, and the ending was perfect. I loved the topic and the moral undertone; how different people think and feel in different ways.
I didn't sympathise with a single situation, unfortunately. And in this world of ours, it's fair to say that stranger things have happened than unwind in the plot of Got You Back.
