I'm not much of a dumpling fan but I think for the food, price and service, this place fits the bill. On the plus side it's BYO for $3/head and the service is pretty quick. It's unlike the pan-fried pork buns back home, where they just literally pan fry a bun, thus leaving the bottoms flat. Been there twice for the soup dumplings, never disappointed.This is a poor man's alternative to Din Tai Fung located upstairs at World Square. A taste of shanghai. This was a unique opportunity to learn from the best dumpling master and also to sample some of the best Shanghai dishes in Sydney.
