Rating: 5 stars ALICIA1482 In a large bowl, stir together warm water, yeast, and sugar.
My advice is follow the recipe as it is written and if you're an experienced enough baker, then make your own changes, but if they don't work out - don't complain! Let stand until creamy, about 10 minutes. To the yeast mixture, add the oil, salt, and 2 cups flour. These were really good! The flavor is delicate, with a hint of sweetness in the backround. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).Bake for 18 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown. Last time I made them, I made rolls with half of the dough, and froze the rest, then later used it for pizza crust. I Made It
15.6 Cleo 4 of 333 There's nothing quite like the smell of freshly baked bread, nor the taste of it when served still slightly warm. I reduced the sugar by 1 T. and used olive oil instead of the vegetable oil. The ingredient list now reflects the servings specified 23.3 calories; 0.3 g protein; 1.8 g carbohydrates; 0 mg cholesterol; 146.4 mg sodium. I used my Kitchen Aid stand mixer to do all the mixing and kneading, so all I had to do was roll it out.
