No point in rambling on about the acting plots etc they are too subjective surface it to say if you LIKE George Gently, Foyles War, Blue Murder, Last Detective you will enjoy this Banks gets a call-out to Owen Pierce's house,which has been vandalised whilst Owen was in prison but Banks makes it clear he still believes Owen was the killer. I have never read the books by Peter Robinson, upon which this series is based, but my wife and I are devotees of decent British crime thriller series.
