The pool is located 15 miles from the Western base of the rugged Sangre de Cristo Mountains and the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. It’s located north of Alamosa, near the Great Sand Dunes.The resort includes a large swimming pool, a smaller relaxation pool, decks, picnic areas and a greenhouse lounge.
The pool seemed cleaned and the food was okay , although we had fun .
The well was originally drilled in the early 1930’s in search of oil. There are also three cabins for rent.Both RV campgrounds and tent sites are available. Thank you to the amazing contractors who assisted with the construction of The Greenhouse: Current Menu . I can tell you this is one of the best places to work too. We have something to satisfy everyone's cravings! This place is beautiful and is the best place to relax or take the family. That single detail turned this place from a good campground into a great campground. But these aren’t normal circumstances.

This year, I noticed that the bathrooms were particularly , dare I say, sparkly clean. Locally known as the “Hooper Pool”, the family-owned Sand Dunes Pool is fun year round. Until when we packed up to leave, I realized I lost my phone and I hurried back inside and a lady yelled at me and her husband, telling me to go back threw a different door saying theyOverall we had a good family night at the Pool, and the Greenhouse was definitely worth an additional $5 a person (Must be 21 with an ID).
Come celebrate your birthday party at the pool! Fresh produce like tomatoes, cucumbers and basil are grow onsite in a greenhouse.There is a Family Travel Trailer to rent, which is fully furnished with a kitchen, bathroom, living room and sleeps four.
