I used the cream off the top of my raw milk, delicious!Great idea about cream off top of the milk- even more lush!Absolutely delicious. I put the flour, BP, salt and butter in the food processor and pulsed it until the butter was well incorporated.

13 The only changes I made was that i used Edmonds GF flour, 60g of butter, 3/4 cup of milk mixed with 1/4 cup of natural unsweetened yogurt. Also I see alot of other people have had problems with the dough being very sticky. I can't believe it, but I changed every ingredient in this recipe in some manner.

Rather than sogy and heavy.If you cook at a very high temperature the out side will cook befor the inside and will result in the inside not cooking proberly. Very good - texture like a biscuit. I always think the sugar is there as a spice to oomph up the caramelisation of the natural lactose sugars. i absolutely love cheese scones & these would have to be the best scones ever!!!!
And he doesn’t like to share Ha I love it Ori! 2 tbps butter is WAY too little for scones--most recipes call for 6-8 tbps. Next time I will lower the temp. I put 6tps (90g butter) like other people recommed. Also cannot understand why Kiwis add sugar to a savoury recipe? The dough was dry and I should have added a bit more milk I think and I should have baked them a few mins less than 15, they were a bit dry.
