Highly recommended.We stayed here for 3 nights. Food is the crowning part of the Kinloch experience. When you’re under our roof, we want you to want for nothing. We felt we were guests at someone's (rather grand) home rather than at a hotel, with very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff, who were finding their feet post COVID but did very well. Here you will find some of Scotland’s best food, roaring fires, whisky on tap and giant beds. Kinloch is in a particularly beautiful part of the island: down a long drive, at the foot of a mountain and at the head of Loch na Dal.
Our room was acceptable but it was not as tastefully furnished as other rooms we have stayed in at Kinloch, a little tired.

Surrounded by mirror still lochs and soaring mountains, it is also a gateway to explore the outstanding natural landscape. The staff were considerate, helpful, enthusiastic.....but occasionally forgetful, as we had to remind them of simple requests on more than one occasion.
Food is excellent, the wine list is thoughtful and impressive for the size of hotel and there is a serious collection of whisky to work through. We want all our guests to leave, planning to return.
