Mills and O'Neill bring the greatest anti-hero ever in comics to life with Joe Gilmore, aka Marshall Law. It is more satire than parody in the sense that most of it's jokes are very very dark, especially in the first half.

Pat Mills has an amazing talent for characters and slogans, and a palpable anger for the evil that powerful men do, and Kevin O'Neill's art and graffetti complement it perfectly. The artwork is similarly amazing - and again from one of the most unique, creative and under-rated (again in America), artists in the business.
