"Showed up unannounced with nine members of my family on a Saturday night at 6:00pm. We ended up being there way later than planned because of the wait. I had written out all the cc amounts to charge with a name and the last couple bucks was cash and the rest tip. Red Stripe is a traditional brasserie with an edge. The service is not the most friendly, and it feels a bit upscale, but the menu is less upscale, and more average than the decor. When guests come to town this restaurant makes a very good impression. The olives were the best part.
The scallops were perfectly cooked and their fresh baked sourdough bread is AMAZING! Oh well she can pay taxes on the tip...High quality food in a friendly atmosphere.

Service was so slow...to get a 2nd glass of wine shouldn't be a big deal. There was even intact meat from some legs. Amazing food without having to break the bank. We value our customers and love to hear feedback about how we are doing.
