This animation film based on the popular comic book characters is very entertaining and humorous, as well as more appealing and rewarding than the live action productions that would be made a few years later.As the only Asterix film with a screenplay by the writers of the books this was set up to be the best Asterix film, and it beats them as easily as Obelix vs a Roman. René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, the creators of the series, wrote the story and directed the film themselves; with co-direction by Pierre Watrin and the screenplay co-written by Pierre Tchernia, a friend of Goscinny and Uderzo.

Episode Description: After the Gauls have defeated a group of Roman legionaries once again two of them start to wonder whether the Gauls are actually human, since their strength is so extraordinary.
The climax of this film made me fall from my cinema seat laughing.Keep track of everything you watch; tell your friends. When Julius Cesar fears, that he will probably never be able to defeat the gaulic village of Asterix and his friends, he has the idea of offering the Gauls a deal: if they are able to solve twelve tasks that he selected, he will hand over the Roman empire to them.
