All of the short stories are central to one theme. Overall I really enjoyed this book. I mean, who wouldn't want to read these stories?OMG, 8 stories by 10 hot authors? Eight brand new stories. The United States Federal Witness Protection Program, also known as the Witness Security Program or WITSEC, is a witness protection program codified through 18 U.S. Code § 3521 and administered by the United States Department of Justice and operated by the United States Marshals Service that is designed to protect threatened witnesses before, during, and after a trial. It's a collection of stories by different authors, all set in the Castle, and we do get to see Master Marshall again (yes!!). So it’s not like reading eight completely separate books. And best of all- each story not only has characters from the Castle, but each of the stories in the set are linked together in some way. I loved that some of them had more humor while some had more intrigue.
The Masters of the Castle are back! Each story that I read, connected to the others in spirit, but could definitely be read as a standalone. I’m ALL in! It took a while for me to read the whole thing because I was reading other books between each story.
