Set in the Botanical Gardens, Bermuda’s first ever purpose-built museum houses more than 1,500 pieces of Bermuda-inspired art dating from the 1700s to the modern day. The public rooms are small but full of Bermudian treasures. This was built as a family home in 1731 by merchant shipper Captain Walter Mitchell and was owned by his descendants for the next 100 years.
